## What is the BattleFly Network? The BattleFly Network is governed by BattleFly DAO. All gFLY stakers are BattleFly DAO members and can participate in DAO governance through voting with staked gFLY. BattleFly Battlegrounds is the flagship game of the BattleFly Network and is an experimental PvP strategy game where players compete against each other to earn rewards. Players are rewarded in TreasureDAO's MAGIC token, the primary in-game currency. BattleFly Battlegrounds is the first flagship game of The BattleFly Network with strategic and dynamic battling taking place over two arenas: The Proving Grounds & The Hyperdome. #### The Proving Grounds The Proving Grounds are a free to play unranked arena with Nectar[^1] rewards for winning and losing BattleFlys, perfect for any novice Fly wanting to learn the ropes. All must start here and prove themselves in combat. Winning BattleFlys receive 2 Nectar whilst losing Flys receive 1 Nectar. Those who succeed will earn their stripes in the form of a Hyperdome Wing Mark, and are given the ability to enter The Hyperdome. #### The Hyperdome The stakes are higher, the competition is greater, and the rewards are unmatched. The Hyperdome is a true test where BattleFlys compete to climb the ranks of our leaderboard. Those who excel in combat, will be rewarded handsomely in the form of MAGIC[^2]. In The Hyperdome, BattleFlys compete for battle rewards by taking MAGIC from Flys they defeat in combat and for rich leaderboard rewards. Each day 750 MAGIC, thousands of Nectar and multiple Mod Packs are distributed to the best performing BattleFlys as well as a few randomly selected Hyperdome Flys. **Role of the Council** This Council will facilitate which proposals go to Snapshot vote, ensuring: 1. Proposals are properly vetted and fine-tuned before being presented to the DAO for vote 2. Low quality, unviable, and/or malicious proposals are not put to vote 3. The DAO is able to move fast and focus on proposals that matter **Governance over the Council** 1. The Council will be renewed via vote every 6 months 2. Ad-hoc proposals around resetting or replacing members of the Council will go directly to Snapshot vote with a maximum of 1 vote every 30 days on this topic. This is to prevent scenarios where: 1.
